Change your Home Bath Water Into More Moisturizing Spa Water
People often consider going to spa in order to enjoy bath time with higher moisturizing effect. Unfortunately, spa service is often very expensive and requires you to spend a lot of money. However, it does not mean that you can not enjoy bathing time with moisturizing bath water just because of the high expense. You can do some tricks to the bath water in your home in order to change it to be moisturizing bath water like what you have in spa. You can do it in some simple steps so you will not find any difficulty to provide this certain type of bath water in your home.
Whenever you are worried about dry skin problem, you can change your ordinary water into spa bath water easily. What you have to provide in your bathroom is warm water instead of hot water. Warm water helps you a lot to open pores in your skin, so the moisture could be easily absorbed. However, you should limit your soaking time just for about 20 minutes or less. Soaking your body in warm water in longer time will dry your skin instead of moisturize it.

The next thing you have to prepare is bath oil. You can also use vegetable or other types of plant oils to replace it. Mix for about two teaspoons of the oil with your warm bath water. You also have to notice that different oils will work well for different levels of skin dryness. You can use calendula, green-tea, or safflower oil to give light moisturizing effect. If you desire to have medium effect, you can consider regular vegetable oil or almond oil. Meanwhile, if you need to have heavier moisturizing effect for your skin, you can mix avocado, sesame, wheat germ, or castor oil. Determine the condition of your skin first in order to determine the most appropriate type of oil to be mixed with the water.
However, you can also replace the oils with oat wheat, rice bran, or tea. Take some amount of oat and place it is a cheesecloth bag. Put it into the warm water in order to give soothing and moisturizing soak. You can also use this bag of oat to clean your body like a loofah. Or, you can steep it in a colander by using boiling water like tea bag. |
